Greetings to all, David is my name and I live in Toowoomba, an inland city in Queensland about an hour and a half west of the state capital Brisbane. I have three sons, two daughter-in-laws, one granddaughter, and one wife (and that's more than enough!!!) In conjunction with my beloved wife we own and run a small transport company that employs 18 people and takes up a large part of our days (and nights!) I have been a modeler for 40+ years and absolutely love the hobby and the friends I have made over the years. Up till now i have been content with Vietnam and WW1 related subjects and scratch building the odd subject, an absolute highlight for me was being awarded a Bronze medal at Euro Militaire in 2007 for a 1/35th scratch built WW1 traction engine. However, As time progresses I find myself being more and more interested with the fascinating array of vehicles as fielded by the IDF. I hope you'll forgive my initial barrage of questions as i start my first project- It may prove more of a challenge than i think it will be but i hope to be able to produce a CMP based sandwich armoured truck and incorporate it into a "Burma Road" diorama. Wish me luck............. Kind regards, David Scorer
