Hi all,

Thought I'd better introduce myself. I know Kevin and Craig from kiwimodeller.com and thought since I have a few IDF models I'd better jump on here also. I built models when I was young with my father but came back to the hobby about a decade ago. Interests are mainly aircraft, WW2 and newer but have started broadening out into armour as well.

Current IDF kits I have are the Academy 1/32 F-16I, Acad 1/48 F-15I, Italeri(Kinetic) 1/48 F-16C Barak, Acad 1/35 Merkava IV and the new Acad 1/35 Merkava IID.

I'm not a fast builder and tend to jump from kit to kit as my interest changes regularly.

I look forward to both sharing my kits with you all and also gleaning what knowledge and info from the experten on here.

- Gary

Gary,
welcome to the site :D :D :D :D :D
Sorry but did not recognise the name when I signed you up

Will be good to see some of your work. I just picked up the IID from modelair and ready to attack it.

Weather is so crap here so heaps of time for modelling. :D :D

Where in AK are you living? I thought you were living down the line somewhere??
I am thinking about getting some regular meetings / modelling session going for AK IDF modellers and trying to sort out a venue.

Let me know if you are interested and hope to catch up soon

cheers
Kev

All good Kev, we discussed somewhat a while back about the 1/32 F-16I.
I'm in Massey, but between work and the little one I have very little spare time to spend out of the house. I'm sure in the future when time is a bit more free I may be able to attend some meetings or something (makes it sound like we have an addiction or something  ).
