ABOUT KWABBUS Kwabbus was the name of my Newfoundlander dog. Male, Black, Lived from 1999 uptil 2012 and became almost 13 years old. He was my first search and rescue dog and the start of the serious `hobby`I also have.
CATERPILLAR COLLECTOR My real name is Wouter and I live in the Netherlands.
I collect CATERPILLAR scale models in scale 1:50 -1:48 for about 25 years now. It all started because my first job was working with CATERPILLAR in 1:1. Today I have a nice job as a scheduler and am I just sitting behind a desk and the only sand I see is a little dust on my office window.
But I'm still a CAT lover.
The reason for joining this idf-modelling.com forum is that I also am interested in all the Military scale models from Caterpillar or OEM's using Caterpillar components which are already released or could be developed in 1:48th or 1:50th scale in the future.
Recently we helped to start a custom project to see if its possible to release the
DOOBI D9R, which will be built as kit and built scale model in 1:48th scale.
I hope I can soon share some information and photos of this project.
