Hello all

My name is Richard Hone & I live in Wiltshire , England. I served for 22 years in the British Army, mostly repairing and recovering armoured vehicles. I served for 6 months with the Multinational Force & Observers in the Sinai, on the border between Israel and Egypt and made a lot of friends, particularly at Jerusalem Rugby Club. I am a long term member of MAFVA and am an active member of our local branch. I model mostly 1/72 & 1/76, WW2, and IDF. Having had the benefit of the excellent reference material & viewing so many inspirational models on this site, I decided to take the plunge & join in. I have recently completed a Yom Kippur War M48 using the interesting Revell kit. It took me a year ! Before & after pics will be posted soon, but be gentle with me.

One of my lasting memories of Israel is having Latrun entirely to myself on a rainy day in 1989.

Regards

Rich
