I'm starting to pick up stuff for my next build which will be an Egyptian T-62. I'm interested in painting it in the camo scheme that I have seen online. Other than the desert sand color, what is a good match for the brownish looking color? In some photos, a third color seems to be present. Any suggestions?

Hi Eric,

I personally like to use Testors "Modelmaster" enamels. The color which seems to duplicate the red-brown best IMO is "Signalbrun", an Afrika corps color. I would also use a "brown drab" as the third color. A light spray mist of very thinned "sand" over top softens and blends the colors. I wouldn't be too concerned about the shade because after you mist and depending how heavy you apply it, the colors will appear faded anyway.

Cheers,
